Take your stand up paddling skills to next level with world renowned water-man Dave Kalama. The course’s main objective is maximizing efficiency through integration of body weight, leverage, and mechanics, with an increased awareness of flow and rhythm.

If you’ve got the basics down and are looking to improve your SUP paddling technique this clinic is for you.

The clinic covers the following material:

  • Explanation of paddle stroke philosophy, concepts and mechanics.
  • Initial manual integration of modified paddle stroke.
  • Stroke feed back, and integration drills.

This 2.5 hours course introduces novice paddlers to paddling in enclosed sheltered waters and calm conditions. Successful participants will receive the Paddle Canada “Basic Stand Up Paddleboard Skills Award.”
