  • Humangear capCAP

    • Humangear, inc. is voluntarily initiating a recall, in cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”), of its updated capCAP product (pictured above) sold from November 2016 to the present, due to a potential safety hazard. When used with extremely hot water the capCap could leak, potentially endangering the user. Please note this Stop Sale Notice applies only to the updated capCAP and does not affect the original capCAP (sold from early 2008 – late 2016), or any other humangear, inc. products. We only have record of one customer having purchased this product at our location. If you have purchased a capCAP on 2/18/2017 please get in touch with us for a refund.
  • Stohlquist Infant and Child PFD

    • Stohlquist WaterWare, Inc. is conducting a voluntary product replacement of select Stohlquist Infant and Child
PFDs. If you have purchased a Stohlquist Infant or Child PFD after March 29th 2017, it will need to be inspected
to determine if it needs to be returned for replacement. Stohlquist is concerned that defective beads attached to
the handle of the PFD can break off and become a choking hazard. While there have been reports of the beads
breaking off, there have not been any reported injuries. Stohlquist believes that issuing a voluntary safety notice is
the safe and prudent thing to do.

Consumers should immediately stop using their PFD if it is marked with one of these lot numbers: 4001164, 4004164, 4008164, 4002164, 4005164, 4007164, 4003164, 4006164, 4015164, 5001171, 5002171, 5003171 and bring the PFD to your nearest authorized Stohlquist Retailer. They will be able to replace your PFD for you. The replacement is made under warranty and you will not incur any charges.
